Brat Dog Days In Frankfort?!
July 27, 2012
We were grilling for a great cause in Frankfort, Indiana this weekend. The actual festival is called “Hot Dog Days” but since Frankfort is such an open minded city, they wanted to offer folks with more “developed palates” a better option — Johnsonville Brats!
Organizers called in The Big Taste Grill and we responded. We will be parked right on courthouse square Friday and Saturday raising money for “Frankfort Main Street.”
Frankfort Main Street was formed in 1985 by concerned residents of the community. At that time, Downtown Frankfort was in a state of decline, as evidenced by storefront vacancies, buildings in states of disrepair, and general lack of interest in the Central Business District. The organization was based on the Main Street Four-Point Approach, which asserts that there are four areas that need equal attention in order to fully revitalize a Central Business District.
