Perfection From Montoursville Little League!
August 16, 2012
We grilled for a great cause today at the Weis Markets grocery store in Montoursville, PA, a neighboring community to the host town of The Little League World Series – Williamsport. Johnsonville wanted to do something really cool to help Weis celebrate their 100th anniversary, and what better way than with The Big Taste Grill, the big taste of Johnsonville Brats, and a big leaguer. Yes, that’s Mike Mussina, starting pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles and the New York Yankees on the Big Taste Grill. Rumor has it that Mike wanted to come up onto the grill and make sure the guys grilling knew what they were doing…after all, todays proceeds from the brat sales were going to be funding little league baseball in Mike’s hometown.
At the end of the day, the guys definitely showed that they knew what they were doing up there on the world’s largest touring grill, and Mike let a relief griller use his grilling tongs.
Congratulations to Montoursville Little League for hosting such a great event and raising so much money for your team. At the end of the day you helped raise just under $2,000 in only 4 hours. That was definitely a perfect game grilled up by the home team!
